[W3VD のアンテナ] W3VD は 50MHz のみならず 28/ 144/432/1200MHz などでビーコンを運用している。 50MHz のアンテナは大きい方のスクェアローで，全 方向性・水平偏波を送信。　28MHz用はダイポール， 144MHz用は小さい方のスクェアロー。　このタワー は John Hopkins 大学の応用物理学研究室の設備で 高さは 45m。

[The antenna system of W3VD] The W3VD is now opera- ting 28/50/144/432/1200MHz beacons. The antenna for 50MHz is the larger squalo. The other antenna are dipole for 28MHz, smaller squalo 144MHz. This tower is about 45mH and the equipment of John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.

[W3VD の送信装置] いちばん上が 50MHz 用の送信機。 6146シングルで RF 出力 5W。　上から２番目は 28MHz 用送信機。　CWジェネレータは各バンド共通で，１台 設置されている。

[The equipment of W3VD] The top equipment is the 50MHz transmitter, which rebuild from commercial equipment, 5W RF output with a 6146B final. The transmitter at the second top is for 28MHz. CW generator is the same for all band.

[ビーコン管理者:W3TMZ] W3VD を管理している W3TMZ:Jack COLSON。　W3VD のシャックの前で。 Jack は，W3VD の全てを案内してくれた。
