Kai;JH6VZS and Shirow;JF6DEA/KE1EO/XU7ACD have been to Yangon, capital city of Myanmar to operate ham radio from Jan.25 to 27, 2003.
We joined Hiroo;XY2A, who had operated since Jan.19, 2003 there. We operated CW and SSB on 7/21MHz and 50MHz and made 949 QSOs (including "Dupe QSO") signed XY5D and XY6J. On 50MHz, we made 45 by CW and 87 by SSB,
totally 132 contacts with JA and HL fortunately. The result is shown in below. Thanks for your calling to XY5D and XY6J! Capital city Yangon is located at downriver of Yangon river, which flow into Gulf of Mottama. We operated from Panda Hotel, where is authorized location to equip radio and antenna and operate XY2A, XY5D and XY6J. This 13 stories hotel is one of the highest building in Yangon. ミャンマーの首都 Yangon はモッタマ湾に注ぐヤンゴン川河口近くの都市で，人口はおよそ250万人。 今回は，ミャンマー当局から設備の設置と XY2A, XY5D 及び XY6J の運用を認められたパンダホテルから運用した。 このパンダホテルは13階建てで， ヤンゴンで最も高い建物のひとつ。 | ||

| The equipment for 50MHz was 4 element HB9CV installed on the top of the hotel and TS-570,
which is 100W RF output. The amplifier (FL-2100) were for HF operation. 50MHz の設備はパンダホテルの屋上に設置した 4el HB9CV に，リグは TS-570 (100W)。 リニアアンプ (FL-2100) は HF 用。 | ||
